Credit: Danny ClinchSome big-name artists have joined the lineup of the MusiCares Person of the Year tribute concert honoring Fleetwood Mac this month. Among the additions to the show are Miley Cyrus, alternative-rock acts Imagine Dragons and Portugal. The Man, Colombian rock star Juanes and country artists Little Big Town, Alison Krauss and Zac Brown Band.
Previously announced acts on the bill for this year's MusiCares tribute include OneRepublic, Lorde, Harry Styles, Keith Urban and Haim. The show will take place January 26 at New York City's Radio City Music Hall.
President Bill Clinton, who used Fleetwood Mac's classic "Don't Stop" as the theme of his 1992 presidential campaign, will present the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers with their award. The legendary group, who also will perform at the event, is the first band to be honored as "Person of the Year." Past honorees include Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Elton John, Billy Joel, Aretha Franklin, Neil Diamond, Stevie Wonder, Brian Wilson, Carole King, Bono, Phil Collins, David Crosby, Gloria Estefan, Don Henley, Tom Petty, Lionel Richie, Paul Simon, Sting, Barbra Streisand, James Taylor and Neil Young.
The MusiCares Person of the Year concert is an annual pre-Grammy event that raises money for the MusiCares Foundation, the charitable arm of the Recording Academy. It offers financial and medical assistance to members of the music community.
